REU at UC San Diego (SDNI)
NNCI REU Program at UC San Diego
This program will take place at the San Diego Nanotechnology Infrastructure (SDNI) at UC San Diego.

In the 10-week SDNI REU program, students will be working closely with graduate students in science and engineering fields under the supervision of faculty mentors in state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities. Faculty members from electrical and computer engineering, nanoengineering, mechanical engineering, material sciences, and bioengineering departments will host SDNI REU students.
All applicants must be United States citizens or U.S. permanent residents enrolled in an undergraduate institution (including community colleges) for the duration of the program.
All participants are required to complete the entire 10-week program. Students who arrive late or leave early will not be accepted and no vacation leaves will be granted. Participation in the weekly seminars and social activities is mandatory for successful completion of the program.

Program Details
SDNI REU - Summer 2025
Program duration: 10 weeks
Tentative dates: June – August (exact dates TBD)
Positions available: 6 REU positions
Housing: On campus housing provided
Travel Expenses: One round trip ticket (coach class) from home to UC San Diego and one round trip ticket (coach class) from San Diego to NNCI REU Convocation (site/City TBD).
Stipend: $6,000
