The active research groups of the Montana State University Electrical and Computer Engineering Department will offer 10-12 REU positions for summer 2023. The majority of the research projects will involve developing and using optical and acoustic techniques to understand the world around us. A subset of these projects will focus on nanotechnology. Project descriptions are provided at the program website. The REU program will run from May 30–August 4, 2023. MONT REU participants will be encouraged and supported to attend the networked NNCI REU Convocation held at The MONT node of NNCI from August 7-8. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, and full-time undergraduates. Participants will receive a $6,000 stipend, travel support to and from Bozeman, and lodging.
