Students will explore the storage capacities of CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs using an Atomic Force Microscope (AFM). They will access the AFM remotely using instruments of the Remotely Accessible Instruments for Nanotechnology (RAIN) network. RAIN is free for educators.
