CNS Education and OUtreach

The Center for Nanoscale Systems at Harvard University has three main education and outreach programs:

Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) – This program provides undergraduate students with summer internship opportunities to conduct research in nanoscale science and engineering. It is managed through the central Harvard portal with Kathryn Ann Hollar, hollar@seas.harvard.edu and Jim Reynolds reynolds@cns.fas.harvard.edu as the points of contact. https://campus.embarkapply.com/harvard/reu16/loginnew.aspx.

Research Experience for Veterans (REV) -  This program focuses on military veterans and is similar in scope to the REU program but occurs during the academic year rather than the summer. The points of contact for the REV are Kathryn Ann Hollar, hollar@seas.harvard.edu and Jim Reynolds reynolds@cns.fas.harvard.edu.

CNS Scholars Program -  this program supports CNS facility use by JSunior Faculty, Post Docs, and Students from small institutions and researchers from underrepresented groups. Applications for this support require a short project proposal. Contact William L. Wilson wwilson@cns.fas.harvard.edu
