Research Experience for Teachers (RET) at the RTNN
Congratulations to the Research Triangle Nanotechnology Network (RTNN) for recently being awarded a 3-year Research Experience for Teachers (RET) grant from the NSF.
The RTNN is now accepting applications from middle and high school teachers as well as community college educators for the summer 2019 RET program: Atomic Scale Design and Engineering. The 5-week program runs June 17 – July 19, with follow up during the academic year. Teachers will receive a $5,000 stipend for their work as an RET with additional funding available for curricular materials and travel for lesson plan/curriculum dissemination. Applications should be submitted by June 1st, 2019, and will be considered until all positions are filled.
